Day 6, June 23 and Diane’s day off from riding, June 24

Yesterday, June 23, 2016 was an interesting ride from Blythe, CA to Salome AZ. It was the first time Diane had to go on the interstate and I hope the only time.

Our sign “Solo Bike Rider Ahead”, provided by Retrophin, specifically Sally has helped slow people down. The sign is an addition to our blinking caution light (thanks to Vernon). Diane picked up some road treasures yesterday that we will add to the back of the RV tomorrow, Saturday, June 25th for safety.

Yes, I am still in my PJ’s and yes I am on my laptop and yes I am gettingBack of RV back in the RV to drive.

Today, June 24th is a day off for Diane from riding but we have been up since 5am and working by 6am.

I have been writing press releases and editing. Diane has been writing more Causes of the Day scripts.

We get to film in the heat again today! We will find some shade, it literally feels 10-15 degrees cooler in the shade.

We have 6 days down and 44 left to go. It is amazing meeting people everyday that can relate to one or more of the Causes.

Life is precious, live it!

I went into surgery on 6/7, dealing with Cystinuria damage control. I was Er this weekend for a infection, and have been feeling weak and in pain off and on since surgery. I have a bigger one to face in July. This is life of many Cystinuria suffers. Passing endless amounts of kidney stones, over 1000 for myself, is not done without damage and complications. Thank you to everything you all are doing to draw awareness for all these causes. May God Keep You All safe! ,
